Mariah brings over 13 years of teaching experience to the studio, with a rich background in multiple dance disciplines. She trained in ballet under Ruth Lenny-Midkiff, studied jazz with her mother, Patty Ogden, and honed her hip-hop skills with renowned choreographer Geo Hubela. Her tap education was shaped by Gene Medler, founder of the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble (NCYTE), where she was a dedicated member during high school.

In addition to her work as a dance educator, Mariah is also an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician. She is currently collaborating with a record label and performs throughout North Carolina.

At NCDI, Mariah teaches all levels of tap and specializes in rhythm tap. Check out her class, known for its energy, musicality and strong focus on technique!
