Valonda Calloway has studied dance her entire life and loves sharing her passion for the art form with NCDI students. Valonda began ballet and jazz lessons as an early teenager in Jacksonville, North Carolina and used that talent to win pageants and dance competitions across the state. Valonda was a dancer and cheerleader in college at Winston-Salem State University. After college, she danced professionally as a Washington Redskins cheerleader.

Valonda has been a student at NCDI for many years and even danced when she was eight months pregnant. You'll often find Valonda on television hosting special events. Check out Valonda's website for information on private lessons and wedding dance preparation.
